North Carolina based artist Frank Black presents his single “Supposed to Be”. The single is a song that tells a story over an Afrocentric beat. The song by the indie artist shows the vulnerability, mixed feelings and confusion that comes with relationships.
The song itself tells a story of how unexpected relationships happen and can change a person. The beat is unique from a typical hip hop beat in that it has Afro beat roots over which the artist creatively draws you into his world. The single is a follow up to previous singles “Kick Back and Relax” and “Talking Slick”.
Frank Black is unique in that he writes with purpose and each song has a point as evident by another single “Two Lives” in which he tells the story of how one bad decision can affect multiple Lives.
