On a day usually reserved for roses and romance, London based Deptford Sound Collective delivered something far more provocative and necessary. Released on February 14, 2026, their new single, "Give Me . Give Me . Give Me, I want it all," serves as a sharp, satirical response to the current global political climate. This is not just another pop record. It is a brilliant parody of a classic 1980s disco track, complete with a catchy dance routine and a three minute video that masterfully balances humor with a serious call for justice.

As we celebrate LGBTQ History Month, this release stands as a vital contrast to the divisive rhetoric often found on the charts today. While some trending tracks lean into exclusion, the Collective uses their platform to champion love and solidarity for marginalized communities worldwide. The group, which comprises diverse musicians, artists, and community activists from South East London, is effectively reviving the power of the 1960s protest song for a modern audience.

The lyrics paint a vivid and intentionally exaggerated picture of insatiable ambition. The song features lines that critique the commodification of the world:

I don't want the holiday or souvenirs to hold. I want the countries one by one like gold. Gold, oil, diamonds shine so bright, but they don't satisfy my appetite. I want the whales, the mines, the rocks tonight. Give me, give me, give me. You know I want it all.

This blunt reflection of a mindset that values territory over human connection is exactly why the track is resonating. Part of a global Love Not Hate campaign, the song is designed to bring people together through music as a new form of protest. The Collective proves that standing up against oppression can be both an energetic and community building experience. With plans for monthly releases and a growing presence on TikTok, Deptford Sound Collective is reminding us that the greatest act of love is defending the civil liberties of everyone.
