Belaganas is a band formed in Phoenix, Arizona that performs alternative hip-hop and bedroom pop. Formed by frontmen and vocalists Joey J and Shanker, the band also features drummer Nick Wile, and are known for their captivating live performances and emotionally charged music.
The trio began writing music in summer of 2016 and since then has released a number of singles detailing teen angst and punk-style anthems delivered through hip-hop sonics.
"Jaywalkin" became available to the public July 21st, 2022 and quickly landed leading positions on editorial playlists from both Spotify and Apple Music.
The accompanying video that Belaganas have lined up for release is, much like the song, a truly left-of-center experience. Through the use of brightly-colored aliens, quick cuts and high energy performances, this goofy interpretation of the song adds a comical and fun experience to the single.
