Liam Dutch is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who creates authentic, often heartfelt and definitely catchy, indie-pop songs. Influenced by the classic songwriters of previous generations - such as Kurt Cobain and lan Curtis.
Liam Dutch's sound is immediate, endearing and likened to Alex Turner of Arctic Monkeys at his most poignant. After achieving success in the London-based band Dead Natives, Dutch now resides in China where he writes, records and performs his solo material.
The world is, thankfully, filled with so much talents it’s hard to keep up. Flip that coin over and you’ll also find an equal amount of mediocrity across the board. How very zen you are, indie-pop. When it comes to singers, there’s some that get more than a fair shake based on things other than vocal talent, and then you have under the radar guys like Liam Dutch, a gent with pipes you rarely hear in music anymore, the kind of guy who can sing anything, has an effortless range yet also is a pop and vibes in everything he does.
You might have heard Liam from his previous single releases "Queen Of England" and "Blame" and "Settle Down" laying down a solid foundation, Liam Dutch's solo career is now set to explode with his latest single release titled What’s your problem and if you don’t know who he is, that’s on you. The musicianship is strong, the songwriting is great, but it’s Liam’s vocals that made and make the tracks a force to be reckoned with.
