Mellofellow is an Australian based Bedroom Dream Pop artist with a psychedelic sound calling back to the British Invasion of the late 1960s with a modern Psych twist.
After releasing the debut guitar filled Psychedelic Rock record "Journey to the Centre of Your Mind" in late 2017, and other amazing pieces likes “Smoking gun” and “Breathe you in”, Mellofellow is back with a new more latest track titled “Run candyman, run” released on July 22, 2022 and it’s a banger.
Run Candyman, run’ is a great melodic, high energy dream-pop tune from Mellofellow. I love this simple energy, the mood, and the balance of straight-up melodic pop-rock energy. You can feel that creative drive in the kit.
Mellofellow delivers such transient bass drum that have all the mood and dynamics to pulse their way into your soul. A perfectionist never rests and that seems to be the case here. The listener can bop up on some influence in the keys and that solid rhythm backbone that pushes Mellofellow’s compelling vocals. This is an impressive release.
