Gone Tomorrow - "Projector Screens"

A young and exciting band from Teesside in Northeast England, Gone Tomorrow composed of college students and mutual friends came together just before the pandemic struck. Although the lock-downs that followed slowed the bands progress, it gave lead singer Ben Ruddick inspiration to write more of the bands signature, snarling, heart on sleeve emotive lyrics ready for release.

The bands style has been described as a unique blend of raw garage rock inspired Indie with atmospheric synth elements. Passionate vocals and a thunderous rhythm section making the band a real force to be reckoned within the live music environment.

Their latest single, "Projector Screens", breaks new territory for the band with a more stripped back low tempo acoustic feel. It is a love song set against the backdrop of growing up in a small town. There is also themes of hope and fate in the song, creating a heartwarming indie-folk ballad about amazing people dragging you through difficult times.

Recent successful gigs include at the Georgian Theatre in Stockton-on Tees weeks after fellow Northeast resident,“Sam Fender’s”memorable performance prior to his world tour.A further gig in late May 2022 was with “Pastel” who supported “Liam Gallagher” at Knebworth in June. More live

performances are booked in, and the band have great ambition to spread these live performances further afield throughout the UK, Europe and beyond.

The future seems bright for this energetic band from England.Their early success was picked up by BBC TV who ran a feature on the band on the 17th Junes edition of BBC Look North.
