In "My Alma Latina," Michellar goes beyond simply releasing an EP; she provides a spiritual gateway into the essence of Latin soul, led by prayer, rhythm, and bold vulnerability. The project ranges from the sacred reverberations of “Ave Maria” to the lively beat of “Samba with Me, which is ready for the dance floor, and concludes with the reflective flow of “The Deep.” It's a collection that's as broad in scope as it is personal.

This transcontinental project, recorded in San Francisco, Austin, and London, is deeply rooted in collaboration and cultural appreciation. Producer Lloyd Miller of Spirit Song Studios infuses Michellar’s work with both sonic clarity and warmth, enabling her vocals and message to resonate authentically. It is ultimately Michellar's unique artistic touch that unites these tracks her sincere voice gracefully merges sacred traditions with contemporary world-pop influences.

"Music is my prayer," Michellar expresses about the project, and it truly reflects in "My Alma Latina." Rather than following trends, this work celebrates faith, femininity, and cross-cultural bonds with a distinct rhythm. The seamless way she weaves traditional Latin influences into contemporary sounds maintains the authenticity of both elements beautifully.

The EP goes beyond being merely a collection of songs; more of an invitation for listeners to pause and connect: with the rhythm, the essence, and our shared human experience woven into every note. In a world overwhelmed by noise, My Alma Latina strives to be purposeful, heartfelt, and authentic. With this debut work Michellar has created something that not only sounds great but also carries profound meaning.
