In his 16-track debut album, The Foggy Jefferson Orchestra declares himself a formidable force to be reckoned with in the electronic scene. To experience listening to the gothic Parisian-inspired is to allow yourself to succumb to the delirious dreamscape the album has created.
Pulsating with the hollowed-out energy of great electronic mixed with bubbly pop hooks in songs such as the single “solstinox”, the album is intoxicating in its driving misery, haunted in how it clings to your skin after experiencing.
It is, without a doubt, one of the most startlingly assured full-length debuts in recently, a signifier of an immense talent that is only now at the start of their career. This and many more to come.
