Edie Yvonne, a 15-year-old singer-songwriter from Los Angeles, has released her debut EP, Girl Code. This six-track collection, produced by Nicky Swedin and Cormac Liotta, showcases Yvonne's talent for blending pop-rock energy with thoughtful lyrics.

The EP opens with "15 (When I Leave)," a lively track that captures the essence of adolescence. The song's infectious melody and guitar riffs evoke a sense of freedom and anticipation. Following this strong start, the EP dives into "2 U," a song that balances energetic guitar distortion with Yvonne's soft vocals. The chorus, where her voice ascends, adds an exhilarating dimension to the track.

"Duh," the fourth track, introduces a more laid-back vibe with its mellow guitar tones and hypnotic rhythm. Yvonne's voice blends effortlessly with the instrumentation, creating a dreamy atmosphere. The simplicity of the lyrics paired with the track's smooth flow makes it a standout on the EP.

As the EP progresses, "Queen Bee" dazzles with its synth-laden shimmer, while "Delusion" offers a groovy, introspective take on infatuation. Both tracks highlight Yvonne's ability to craft songs that are both catchy and emotionally resonant. The closing track, "15 (When I Leave)," reprises the opening energy, bringing the EP full circle with its raucous rock edge.
